Discovery and going live

Your company moves through four stages: Draft, Sandbox, Certifying and Live. This page covers the steps you take yourself (verifying your company, running discovery and moving to Sandbox) and what NetApps InsureTech checks before it certifies you and moves you to Live.

Verify your company (KYC)link

The Company verification (KYC) card is at the top of the Overview screen. Verification runs in a secure window and takes a few minutes.

Run discoverylink

Discovery reads the capabilities document your API publishes and compares it with your profile. It uses your sandbox API until you are live with production keys, then your production API.

Before you can select Run discovery on the Discovery screen:

  • Your setup checklist must be complete. The screen lists any missing items with a link to Setup.
  • You must have issued credentials. Discovery signs in to your API with them.

Discovery checks that your capabilities document:

  • Can be read and is valid.
  • Lists every insurance category on your profile.
  • Lists your profile country and currency.
  • Declares the same settlement model as your profile.
  • Turns on every feature your declared compliance level requires.

The results appear under Why am I not live yet?, grouped into Capability document, Profile vs. capabilities and Certification attestation. Each finding gives a fix, a Details section and, where useful, what your profile declared next to what your capabilities said. "No blockers found" means you are ready for the next step.

Move to Sandboxlink

The Going live card on Overview shows the four stages and your next one.

  1. Complete your setup checklist and run discovery.
  2. On Overview, under Next: Sandbox, select Move to Sandbox. Only an owner can do this.
  3. If something blocks the move, Why am I not live yet? lists it. Fix it and try again.

The move needs a complete setup, a current capabilities document and a profile that matches it. If your capabilities document is out of date, NetApps InsureTech fetches it again first.

Once you are in Sandbox, your products are visible to merchants in the test environment.

Certification and livelink

From Sandbox onwards, NetApps InsureTech moves you. The card says: "Moving from Sandbox to Certifying needs platform certification." You cannot do it from the console.

MoveWhat must be true
Sandbox to CertifyingSandbox Check connection passed within the last 7 days.
Certifying to LiveEverything in the go-live checklist below.

Production keys become available once you are Certifying. Issue them on Credentials, deploy them to your production middleware and run Check connection on production.

Go-live checklistlink

While you are in Draft, Sandbox or Certifying, Overview shows a Go-live checklist: everything that must be in place before you can go live, and what to do about each item. A banner at the top reads either "Some items still block going live." or "Nothing blocks going live. NetApps InsureTech moves you to live after certification."

BlockingIt stops you going live.
WarningIt does not stop you going live, but needs attention.

The checklist has four groups:

GroupItems you may see
IntegrationMissing setup items, including the production API address. Profile and capabilities mismatches. KYC not approved. Sandbox or production Check connection not passed within 7 days. An Adapter AI level of quote and buy. A note that certification is checked when you move to live.
ProductsEach product whose commercial terms are not set or not active yet (no action needed from you). At least one product must be active. NetApps InsureTech activates products once their commercial terms are set. If a product is missing from Products, check that your API lists it.
Commercial terms"NetApps InsureTech is finishing the commercial terms for your products." No action needed.
PayoutsYour settlement account must be on file. Your RC number is a warning: payouts are refused without it. "NetApps InsureTech is finishing its payout setup" needs no action.

Items you can fix carry a link: Open Credentials, Open Profile or Open Adapter AI.

If you are suspendedlink

A suspended company sees "This provider is suspended. Contact a NetApps InsureTech administrator to restore it." on Overview.
