Team and roles

The Team screen controls who can sign in to your Provider Console and what each person can do. It has three tabs: Members, Invitations and Contacts.

Roleslink

Each member has exactly one role.

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerEverything, including the owner-only actions below. Only an owner can act on another owner.
AdminEverything except the owner-only actions. Admins manage the team, but cannot act on owners or make anyone an owner.
MemberOnly what their permission groups allow.

Owners and admins show an All provider methods badge on the Members tab instead of permission groups.

Owner-only actionslink

Only an owner can:

  • Issue, rotate or revoke API keys and secrets, and finish a rotation early.
  • Run Check connection.
  • Regenerate the inbound webhook URL.
  • Move your company from Draft to Sandbox.
  • Change your business names.
  • Invite someone as an owner, make someone an owner, or change, suspend or remove an owner.

Permission groupslink

Permission groups apply to members only. Pick them one by one; each adds one area of access.

GroupWhat it allows
ViewerSee most pages of this console, without changing anything.
CatalogSee your synced products, map them to product types and refresh them from your API.
AvailabilitySet your availability rules, and see sync and certification health and the events and alerts from your API.

MoneySee remittances, settlement totals and reports, and download the bordereau.

Invite a teammatelink

Owners and admins can invite people.

  1. Open Team and select the Invitations tab.
  2. Select Invite member.
  3. Enter the Email, First name and Last name.
  4. Choose a Role. Admins do not see the Owner role.
  5. For a member, choose the groups under What they can do.
  6. Select Send invite.

The person gets an email to join the console with the NetApps SSO account for that address. Each email can have only one pending invitation at a time.

Manage invitationslink

The Invitations tab lists every invitation with its role, status, created date and expiry date.

StatusMeaning
PendingSent and waiting. You can Resend or Cancel it.
AcceptedThe person joined the console.
ExpiredNot accepted within 72 hours.
CancelledSomeone cancelled it.

Resend sends the email again with a fresh 72-hour expiry.

Manage memberslink

The Members tab lists each member's name, email, role, groups, status, join date and last activity. If you can act on a member, you can:

  • Change their role from the role list in their row.
  • Change their groups by selecting or clearing a group in their row (members only).
  • Suspend them. A suspended member cannot reach the console until you select Reinstate.
  • Remove them. The dialog asks you to confirm with Remove access. They lose access straight away, and their status becomes Inactive. To bring them back, send a new invitation.
StatusMeaning
ActiveCan sign in.
SuspendedAccess paused. Can be reinstated.
InactiveAccess removed. Needs a new invitation.

A suspended or removed person who signs in sees No provider access.

Notification contactslink

The Contacts tab lists the people NetApps InsureTech emails about your integration and your adapter builds. Owners and admins can change them. You can add up to 10 contacts.

  1. Select Add contact.
  2. Enter a Name (up to 120 characters) and an Email.
  3. Optionally enter a Phone in international format, for example +2348012345678.
  4. Under What they receive, choose Integration updates, Adapter build results or both. At least one is required.
  5. Select Save contact.

Use Edit or Remove on a contact's row to change it. A removed contact stops getting integration emails straight away.
